He or she is not your indentured servant there to answer your every beck and call. This does not create a harmonious or positively engaging work environment.

4. Expectations

Laying out expectations at the beginning with a firm signed contract can help avoid confusion later. A student needs you to sign off and will likely work very hard for a positive evaluation. You want  good press. For this to work out you need set clear business expectations, Work start and stop times, breaks, and pay should be clearly defined.
